Abstract

With the vigorous development of emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, the global technology industry is undergoing profound transformation. IBM, as a century-old leading technology enterprise, has maintained strong competitiveness and market influence amid constant changes. This paper aims to explore IBM's core success factors through theoretical analysis and PEST-SWOT framework. It focuses on three key dimensions: technological innovation, customer-oriented strategies, and content marketing. Additionally, the paper discusses the role of digital transformation in IBM's development, analyzes the company's internal strengths and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats, and puts forward recommendations for its long-term development. The research reveals that IBM's ability to continuously innovate, adhere to customer-centricity, implement effective content marketing, and promote digital transformation is the fundamental reason for its sustained success over more than a century.
