Editorial Policy
MSI maintains rigorous academic standards and promotes transparency in scholarly publishing. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, technical and application studies, short communications, and software or dataset papers. Submissions must present clear methodological novelty or significant applied advancement supported by experimental validation or practical implementation. Manuscripts offering only incremental improvements without demonstrated innovation or application relevance may not be considered for review.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and academic quality. Manuscripts are first screened by the editorial office for scope alignment and basic quality requirements before assignment to an Associate Editor. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, after which an editorial decision of acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection is issued. The journal targets an average review period of four to eight weeks. Evaluation criteria include originality, technical soundness, methodological rigor, reproducibility, practical applicability, and clarity of presentation.
Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
MSI adheres to ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are required to submit original and unpublished work, avoid plagiarism or redundant publication, properly acknowledge prior research, obtain ethical approval where human or animal data are involved, and disclose any conflicts of interest. Editors are responsible for ensuring unbiased editorial decisions, confidential manuscript handling, and non-discriminatory evaluation practices. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, provide objective assessments, and declare potential conflicts of interest. Confirmed cases of academic misconduct may lead to manuscript rejection or post-publication retraction.
Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts should include a title, abstract (150–250 words), keywords (4–6), introduction, methodology, experimental results or application validation, discussion, conclusion, and references. Authors are encouraged to provide implementation details, reproducibility information, and access to datasets or code repositories whenever possible. Submissions may be prepared using LaTeX or Word formats and should follow APA or IEEE referencing styles.
Open Access & Copyright Policy
MSI supports both open access and subscription-based publication models. Authors retain copyright of their work under applicable Creative Commons licensing agreements where open access publication is selected.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support open access publishing and journal operations, MSI charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 450 per accepted article. The fee is only payable after the article has successfully passed peer review and been accepted for publication. No submission or review charges apply.
